Electricity Saving Tips As Recommended by Earth 4 Energy

Michael Harvey’s Electricity Saving Tips

I bought my copy of Michael Harvey’s Earth 4 Energy e-book back in January 2009. The book covers a total of 19 Chapters and consist of 85 pages. On this blog post, I will write about Chapter 1 in my Earth 4 Energy review.

In this chapter Harvey shared some ideas on electricity saving tips. Even though the book focuses on renewable energy such solar and wind power, equally important issue is to understand how we use energy at our home. Are there any power leakages or inefficient electrical equipments that are wasting energy in your home? Green energy such as solar power has the ability to reduce our monthly electricity bill. However, there are many simple things we can do that can produce the same benefits. How can we do so?

According to Earth 4 Energy, all we have to do is to be more prudent and mindful on our daily actions. Simple action such as turning off our appliances such as our TV, computer, light etc when not in use. Even when the equipments are in Standby mode, it will also consume energy. When possible, air dry our dishes and clothes. Keep the thermostat at a comfortable but moderate temperature. Make sure our homes are well sealed around doors and winds.

All the suggestions above are simple electricity saving tips shared in Earth 4 Energy. I bet if we were to really implement these steps, we will be seeing substantial saving on our monthly electricity bills.

  3. Solar energy is one of a few truly renewable resources that can be used in energy and power generation. Every hour of every day, the Sun blankets our planet with enough energy to sustain our global energy needs for a year. As the technology behind photovoltaic energy advances, consumers will be unable to resist the urge to convert.
